Our client is looking for a skilled CT Technologist to join their team and play a vital role in performing CT scans and procedures under the supervision of qualified physicians for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases. As a CT Technologist, you will interpret physician scanning instructions accurately, administer IV contrast media, and conduct scans according to established protocols. Your expertise in radiation safety will be essential for making technical adjustments based on patient body habitus, age, and ALARA principles. Providing direct patient care to individuals of all ages, you will use your exceptional customer service skills to treat each patient with respect and courtesy, providing clear explanations of the examination process. Your collaborative skills will help maintain a positive work environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine x-ray and CT imaging procedures as prescribed by healthcare providers.
  • Ensure patient comfort and cooperation throughout imaging procedures.
  • Adhere to radiation safety protocols, ensuring accurate patient positioning for optimal images.
  • Provide direct patient care, accommodating the needs of patients across all age groups.
  • Explain procedures to patients, addressing their concerns and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Monitor patients for any adverse reactions during and after imaging.
  • Maintain accurate records of imaging procedures, patient information, and any anomalies.
  • Properly document radiation doses administered.
  • Adhere to hospital and departmental attendance, punctuality, and safety guidelines.
  • Follow all organizational policies and procedures.
  • Wear appropriate protective clothing and equipment as necessary.


Must Haves:

  • 1-2 years of experience in CT
  • Vocational/Technical Degree in Radiologic Technology.
  • Certified Computed Tomography (CT)(ARRT), Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), and Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Adhere to hospital and departmental attendance and punctuality guidelines.
  • Perform all job responsibilities in alignment with the organization’s core values, mission, and vision.
  • Complete all duties as required and follow departmental policies and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with knowledge in your field through self-education and participation in ongoing educational programs.
  • Attend staff meetings, mandatory in-services, and meet competency evaluations promptly.
  • Demonstrate competency in providing care to patients of all ages, considering their individual needs based on age, sex, and weight. For non-clinical areas, apply age-specific customer service skills if applicable.
  • Wear appropriate protective clothing and equipment as necessary.

Salary:

  • Starting at $27.55 per hour.
